Administration in Marsfeld
Marsfeld has housed a substantial share of Munich and Bavarian administration since the 1950s. On Deroystraße are several tax offices and branches of the Bavarian tax administration — Finanzamt München, Finanzamt für Körperschaften and branches of the regional revenue directorate. The location lies conveniently between Hauptbahnhof and Stiglmaierplatz, easily reachable for taxpayers from across the Munich city area.
The buildings are sober post-war and 1960s architecture — no jewel, but a slice of Bavarian administrative topography. Anyone filing their tax return here is in the right place: Marsfeld.
